These Three

My Littles and our dog are seriously the best. They really are. Everything about them, is pure awesomeness. They light up my world and make everything worth it, even the days filled with stomping screaming crying meltdowns and the mornings where I wake up drenched in pee soaked bedding from them. I wouldn’t change being their mommy for the world. Even on the days that I just want to pull put all my hair and give up, they give me the motivation to keep going because of them.

So when I wake up to this this morning:

My life is magically complete just with these three beautiful faces staring up at me counting on me. They are my world. They truly are.

Weekend Quality Time

This weekend I got to spend some amazing quality time with three of my sister’s, three of my niece’s, and two of my nephew’s. It was much needed completely. I love spending time with my family and getting closer to one another. I hope that it can happen more in the future. Next time will be with my Littles!

Here are some pictures from this weekend:

College Jail Tour

Yesterday I went on a jail tour in the city I live for school. There was supposed to be 15 other students that came with but total there were only four of us that showed up. It was definitely an experience.

When we got there, we weren’t sure exactly where to go since there are many doors to come in. The other three students and I sat in the front lobby area trying to calm our nerves about doing the tour. I was nervous because I have anxiety about a lot of things and have seen bad things happen to others when they come into a jail or prison on television, which yes I know is not all real but it is scary. Sitting there on those cold plastic chairs in the jail front lobby with the cold brick tile walls was kind of nerve wrecking for me. Finally after us talking for a while, the Captain came out and was talking with us for a few minutes before he realized that we had our phones on us which he had us go back to our vehicles to put them in. When we came back, he realized we had out purses on us so we had to go back to our vehicles again to put those back. Needless to say, we had to go back to our vehicles four times to put everything back in them since we can’t have anything on us except our ID’s and we didn’t know that. For the tour, we talked for a bit in the briefing room with the Captain as he told us about the jail, his position, other positions in the jail, what the focuses are in the jail, and all the details about the inmates. We got to go in most areas of the jail on the tour and learn new things. It was eye opening for me because I had never been inside of a jail and knew not very much about jails. We all learned about being an correctional officer, life inside of a jail, and the ins and outs of a jail for an officer and an inmate. It was amazing stuff we learned and actually helped me realize that I kind of want to be an correctional officer to help others. The only scary part of being a correctional officer in my opinion would be that you never know what you are going to see that day and encounter. You may see someone murdered, hanging, fighting, or other crazy things that you typically wouldn’t see. It was the most rewarding thing of the Captain to be able to help others get on the right track, to know that you helped someone, and to see that person later on in the future on the right track in life making something of themselves while knowing you helped that happen. Those things inspired me a lot. So you never know, you may see me in the future as a correction officer helping others and making an difference!

Working Things Out

I had counseling a little bit ago today. It felt so good to talk to someone that’s on the outside that can help and relate to what’s going on in my life. A big thing I am working on right now is my relationship with my Littles’ father. So far it has greatly approved but it does need some more work. My counselor suggested that I date their father before he moves back in soon so that we can work on our connection and get closer. I have no clue how to do this! It makes sense to do it but I don’t know how to. Any suggestions people?! I really want this to work with him. I love him so much and have faith this will work. He’s the peanut butter to my jelly 🙂

Our Walk

My best friend and I are becoming closer than ever and so are our Littles. Last weekend, we went on a walk at a trail in town. It was awesome. Our Littles rode their bikes, pushed a scooter, and had a blast. We even brought our dog Molly with us. I’m so glad that we all had a great time. My Littles and I are so blessed to have my best friend and her family in our lives! We are so thankful for them.

Here are some pictures from our walk!

My Best Friend

I have a very good friend. Her name is Amanda. She’s my best friend and like a sister to me. My Littles call her Auntie or TiTi and her littles call me that as well. Her and her littles mean a lot to me. I don’t know what I’d do without them in our lives. We understand each other more than just about anyone else and are very close. When I’m down and just about no one else notices, she can tell right away. Same with her when she is upset or down. We have each others backs at all times and support one another even if we may not agree with each others decisions.

At first, we weren’t as close. She was one of my sister’s friends from college in the same program that she was in. Amanda needed a babysitter for her littles and my sister recommended me. We came in contact and clicked. I was nervous though because I’m always scared of getting close to someone and then them leaving out of my life like most of the people in my life do. I let my guard down after a while and was able to be myself with her. We’ve been inseparable since! We see each other a lot with our Littles and are closer than ever.

Amanda is pregnant right now and I’m so proud and excited that I get to be the one to throw her a gender reveal party and be involved with the new baby coming. It’s awesome 🙂 Today we went to the doctors with her littles and husband to find out the sex of her baby. I’m so excited for her and her family!!

Amanda is my best friend. She’s such a good person and I couldn’t have asked for a better friend to me and a better Auntie to my Littles. Her littles are amazing and the best.

A Garden Experience

This evening my Littles and I went to my nephew Kadin’s school for a Garden Experience. It was awesome! We watched a demonstration on how to make healthy pumpkin pancakes, learned new awesome things about healthy cooking, learned about how to garden, and got to plant radish seeds that will be growing with a tomato plant or a pepper plant that we can pick up in a few weeks. It was loads of fun! My Littles and I are very excited and want to do a garden now!

Amazing Sister & Auntie

Today is my niece Katlyn’s 5th Birthday party. We had it at a gym type thing for littles with tumbling, bounce houses, and a bunch of other tumbling things. It was pretty awesome. My younger sister Samantha came. I’m so happy we got to spend time with her and see her. Now even after the party, we are at my sister Jessica’s home visiting with her too. Samantha is playing with my niece and nephews right now. It’s awesome watching her with them like it is when she plays with my Littles as well. She is such a good sister and auntie. If you ever need anyone to calm down a baby or little, you can always count on her to do it. She’s like a total baby whisperer, seriously. Right now she is in college at a University. I’m so proud of her. She is doing amazing and is so smart. Whenever she puts her mind to something, she always accomplishes it. I love her so much and am so proud to call her my sister!

National Siblings Day

I have the best siblings ever. I may be bias but seriously, I do. Total I have seven sisters, five brothers, three foster sisters, and one very best friend that I consider a sister to me as well. Not all of my siblings and I are as close but most of us are. I know that no matter what, we will always have each others backs. Having siblings is an amazing experience that I think everyone should have. Yes, there are some ups and downs in the process of having siblings but it truly is a blessing. With siblings, you have a friend for life that will understand you like no other, will always have your back, and you get to spend a lifetime with.

Today is National Siblings Day so if you have siblings, today is a good day to really cherish them and thank you for everything. Happy National Siblings Day everyone!

Here’s some pictures of my siblings and I!
